Hind Rajab’s mother attends BAFTAs as film about her daughter nominated

The Oscar-nominated film ‘The Voice of Hind Rajab’ was among the nominees at this year’s BAFTA Film Awards in London.
The documentary tells the story of five-year-old Hind Rajab, a Palestinian girl killed by Israeli forces in Gaza whilst calling for help, using her real voice from the emergency call recording.
Hind’s mother, Wesam Hamada, attended the ceremony and said the film gives dignity to her daughter and conveys the voices of all children in Gaza to the world.
The film has attracted support from executive producers including Brad Pitt and Alfonso Cuaron.

Al Jazeera’s Milena Veselinovic reports from London.
