Israel says strike on southern Lebanon targeted alleged Hezbollah sites

The Israeli army has announced it targeted an alleged “training” compound for members of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force in southern Lebanon a short while ago.

In a statement, the army added that it targeted several other alleged Hezbollah sites in the area and said that any military training and sites went against understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
However, since Israel and Lebanon agreed to a ceasefire last year, Israel has routinely broken the agreement and targeted Lebanon. According to a UN report last month, at least 127 civilians, including children, have been killed in Lebanon since the ceasefire went into effect.
