The strike took place just hours after US Senate Republicans blocked a resolution that would have prevented former President Donald Trump from authorizing further attacks.
The White House says the targeted boats were smuggling drugs from Venezuela to the United States, while lawmakers from both parties have voiced concerns about the legality of the strikes.
